Bill Claybrook has been teaching the creation of fine art images using digital technology for the past several years in a number of workshops. While Bill focuses on both B&W and color photography in his workshops, he specializes in producing very high quality B&W images from color images. One of his most important goals in the workshops is to help you learn how to see creatively through your lenses to produce wonderful "jump out at you" images from even mundane subjects.

During the workshops, you will spend time in the field shooting images and then time in the classroom examining and critiquing your work. Each day is filled with field work and classroom instruction. Bill's workshops teach you not only about metering, composition, color models, etc., but he teaches you how to use the latest version of PhotoShop software to improve the beauty and value of your images. He discusses the intricacries of printing images including printing on thick paper such as Cold Press water color paper to take advantage of the fabric of the paper.

You will work as a group, but you receive individual attention, both in the field and in the classroom. The size of each workshop is limited to 10 participants. You will learn how to shoot in manual mode and use compensation to get "on the money" exposures.
